WELCOME
Here at Starcraft2Forum.org, we realize that not everyone plays in LAN tournaments around the world, and not everyone can call themselves a pro.
That realization is also obvious to some of our friends, including Gentho and Artosis of RTSProfessional.com. So that's why we're offering this tournament to you, the common player. Have you always wanted to test your skills and see how really good you are? Or do you just want to play for fun? This is the tournament for you!
We're bringing you a tournament with a risk-free environment (no entry fee), some great prizes, and the chance to improve your Starcraft game. Just like our friends at RTSProfessional will tell you, it's time to "Get Good". Download the tournament maps here.
HOW TO REGISTER
You need to first already be a member on Starcraft2forums.org or create an account there first. Next come back to this page and create an account using the form at the bottom of this page. You create a SFL username which should be the same as your Battle.net name, you then also need to include your email and Starcraft2forums.org username.
TOURNAMENT RULES
- This is a 1v1 single elimination tournament. The first round will be decided by single games, so make sure you don't lose your first round. All other rounds will be best of three.
- Victories will be verified for the first four rounds by submitting screen shots of the final scoreboard at the end of each game. All screenshots (of all games for each round) must be sent to Joneagle. Replays must be saved and be available for review upon request.
- There are no first round byes. Players whose opponents forfeit in the first round will face players on the waiting list to join the tournament.
- From Round Five onward all replays must be saved and submitted for all games to verify victories.
- Complaints and reviews must be submitted to Joneagle, with evidence, within 24 hours of a round's end.
- All games must be played on one of the following maps: Lost Temple, Luna, Python, Longinus, Ride of the Valkyries.
- Each player will be issued a "player number" that will have a chance to be redeemed for prizes at the end of the tournament, no matter that player's finishing status. Only players who won no other prizes will be eligible for this raffle.
- Players' "player number" will also be used to determine their bracket matchups (which are randomized each round).
- All players must participate in all games assigned to be eligible to receive prizes.
- The first round of the tournament will be held during a specific timeframe on the Starfeeder Starcraft League. Players must be present in their assigned channels at the arranged time or will forfeit their position in the tournament. Each channel will be assigned a tournament moderator who will be in charge of the brackets assigned to his/her channel.
- All games will be played on the Starfeeder Starcraft League, meaning all participants must be registered (and approved) users on that league.
- All participants must be registered members of Starcraft2Forum.org and have active accounts with a minimum of 20 acceptable posts (no spam) at the time of the beginning of the tournament.
