Welcome to the last Epic Drop of the first week in August.  Today is the start of the Smog Olympics in China's capital city of Bei "dirty as hell" Jing.  Make sure you turn in if want to see the opening ceremony.  I will probably wait till Saturday myself.

Sprint/Nextel
has been hurting for some time now.  Hell even I am leaving after 4yrs in a week or so.  The latest rumor of a potential buyer for Sprint is the awe inspiring Google!  Could they be the solution to th…

Two of America’s best gamers took on the best players they’ve ever faced when they went head on against two of Korea’s best gamers.

Nony, Iefnaij, Kal, and JulyZerg all came together today and played a show match.
We saw Nony vs. JulyZerg and Iefnaij vs. Kal in a bo1 format.

The matches themselves were played as an opening treat for an upcoming tournament that is hosted by SCForAll.com.

The Omegalisk

^ This is the original concept piece for the 'new' Ultralisk in StarCraft II. The tentacles were fun to watch while skewing marines, but in multiplayer, the 'random' factor of that skewing did not fit into the competitive gameplay nature of StarCraft as well.
- Karune

That massive thing apparently kills multiple Marines, but with an anime porn style tentacle attack. The current and official model of the Ultralis…

Someday these music labels should pull their heads out of their ass.  In what amounts to strike 1,000+ against them and their decision making; the latest blunder entails dealing with music based video games.

Games like Rock Band and Guitar Hero have brought gaming and music together in a mighty collaboration.  Both game series are top sellers and generate tons of cash.  So what is the problem?  Apparently that is too much cash for the game publishers and not enough for …

Welcome to a late edition of the morning news.  Sorry about the delay, but as some of you can guess the site has been down for a bit.  Enjoy the reading!

The Brett Favre saga is finally over with him wearing a new shade of green.  He was traded to the N.Y. Jets yesterday and will no longer bleed Packer green and yellow.  Of course the Jets weren’t considering the Madden curse, which they should have.  Brett is bound too have an off year or an injury thanks to being …

Welcome back for another night of the Epic Drop brought to you by the Slapnuts.  Obama, bastards whom I hope go to jail, Brock Lesnar, hot cheerleaders are all featured in tonight's edition.  And can someone tell me why I didn't know about One Tree Hill having that kind of action shown in the cheerleader link?  Wow...

Obama has pulled off another flip flop.  The latest topic to warrant his change of heart is NASA and our space program.  Instead of slashing NASA's already …

One of the only console shooters I was ever really in to was Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64.  I put the game on my top five fps games ever and on my most desired remakes/rereleases.  The game was well balanced, offered tremendous multiplayer features for the time and made the most of the iconic Bond universe.

So why hasn't this game been rereleased yet on XBLA or Nintendo's Wiiware?  Rare made a new version of the game but Nintendo and Microsoft couldn't solve their differences and t…

Hooooooooooooly **** what a bad movie. I watched The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor last night after getting a chance to see it for free and despite that price it still wasn't worth watching. Obviously the first Mummy movies weren't great films but they were 'fun'. This film, sadly, was not. It was two grueling hours of terrible. Here is who to blame:

The Script, Alfred Gough and Miles Milar (Smallville): To say these two should stick to the small screen is far too kind. The lines range from m…

Line of the week:

"But frankly f$#k you if you want a story"

The Hitori Hanzo reference was pretty damn amusing well.  Apparently Yahtzee feels Ninja Gaiden is full of boobs and gore, just for the sake of being full of boobs and gore.  He also notes it is quite buggy and seems a bit rushed.

Anyone played this on 360?  What do you guys think of the game?  I'll just wait for the eventual rerelease on Playstation 3.

I know a few of you out there aren't console players and refuse to buy next systems still.  So if you have been on the hold out front you may now be happy to know that GTA IV is coming to PC November 18th according to Take 2 Games.

There are "expanded" multiplayer modes for the PC.  My guess is more people per game if anything, and probably not "new" modes.

GTA IV is of course one of the best selling games this year and critically praised.  I really enjoyed it.  But I have to b…

Stork Interview:

Although thought of as a many time 2nd place finisher, Stork has dominated in tournaments outside of his Korean homeland. After beating Pj last year in the WCG World Finals, Stork was an obvious invite choice for Blizzard’s World Wide Invitational.

Once again Stork showed that he had what it takes and took the tournament home, even after facing the likes of Savior, Kal, and the foreigner community favorite Sea[Sh…
